Dr. Artz is a surgeon serving Tucson and the surrounding communities. She is affiliated with Arizona Community Surgeons, a practice of surgeons that include specialists in general surgery, orthopedic surgery, plastic surgery, colorectal surgery, endocrine surgery, surgical oncology, breast surgery, joint surgery, hand surgery, foot and ankle surgery, and sports medicine. They operate at every major hospital in Tucson, as well as at a number of free-standing surgery centers. In regards to her education, Dr. Artz earned her Medical Degree from the University Of Arizona College Of Medicine. She completed her residency in general surgery at the Texas A & M College of Medicine and an internship for Obstetrics and Gynecology at Good Samaritan Regional Medical Center. Dr. Artz shares her love of medicine as she mentors high school students in both the Tucson and Vail School Districts aspiring to be doctors and surgeons. As an Associate Professor at the University of Arizona, she teaches medical students on the path to becoming physicians. Accepting most health care plans, Dr. Artz is currently accepting new patients. She is affiliated with St. Joseph’s Hospital, Tucson Medical Center, and Camp Lowell Surgery Center. To stay up to date in her field, she remains a professional member of the American College of Surgeons.
